Your responsibilitiesSupporting the coordination of:
Preparing roll forward quarterly tax provision package for EMEA
Including completion of quarterly and annual tax packages, checking of tax payables with preparation of roll-forward schedules, maintenance and substantiation of deferred tax inventory, etc.
Preparing additional information for EMEA tax computations to external tax agents
Preparing tax depreciation schedules
Other adhoc tax related matters
Our requirements
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college, in your penultimate year of your bachelors or masters degree studies - Finance & Accounting, Economics, Tax students being preferred
(Graduation between December 2024-September 2025).
Available to work full-time for the entire duration of the Summer Internship Program (between July to September, depending on your school system) .
Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, business proficiency in English .
Ability to create accurate and punctual reports, deliver presentations, and share information and ideas with others.
Analytically driven and detail-oriented, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package and aptitude to learn new tools.
Good attitude and willingness to learn
Team and Role
The Tax Department manages Equinix's global tax issues and income tax accounting for financial statement purposes, as well as tax compliance (filing) requirements. The EMEA Corporate Income Tax ("CIT") Team is responsible for the CIT and Withholding Tax reporting, accounting, and compliance for the EMEA region (22 countries). The intern role will support the Team over Summer 2024.
