Opis stanowiska

For our client from telecommunications industry, we are looking for Java Developer.
The person in this position will be an independent and self-organized individual contributor who works in autonomous team called API (around 15 members for now). As a Java developer in our team, you will be engaged in all aspects of creating features of new telco processes and optimization of existing ones. As a DOP team we are responsible for maintenance and development of e.g. FLEX product.
Contract: B2B
Hybrid mode: 2 days in the office in Warsaw, 3 days remotely
What You do:
Plan the work for the Product Increment cycle (we work in SAFe framework)
Deliver the features according to the plan
Deliver the code with reasonable unit tests coverage
Communicating about dependencies, risks and possible delays
Support production environments
Optimize existing delivery processes
Keep codebase easy to maintain, keep it easy for others
As a senior review code contributed by the rest of the team and work with them to simplify and improve it
Working with team members to ensure high quality is being implemented
Who you are and what you know:
At least 4 year experience in programming in Java (Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Integration)
Experience in working with various data bases (SQL/NoSQL, preferably MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
Some experience with queuing systems RabbitMQ preferably
Experience in creation of microservices architecture
Experience with Git
An assertive, pro-active person who thinks analytically
You feel proud of what you do
Detail oriented with good time management skills and ability to fit in a fast paced agile environment
You like to learn new things and retrospective is a practical tool for your development
Communicative, there are no stupid questions for you to ask
What could be useful:
Some knowledge with working with Kubernetes
Understanding of CI/CD, basic pipeline creation skills and understanding of docker usage/operations
Practical knowledge of Gherkin (BDD)
Working in agile methodologies
