For our client, an industry leader in the field of technology consulting and digital transformation we are looking for Ansible Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automation solutions that enhances operations efficiency.Project information:
Location: Katowice, Opole, Lublin, Kraków, Wrocław, Gdańsk, Poznań (Hybrid mode)
Type of employment: contract of employment or B2B contract
Salary-up to 20 000 PLN gross (or B2B)
Technologies: Linux, Windows Virtual Machines,AWS, Azure, and it could be also GCP but it's not critical as of today
Project language: English
Start date: depending on candidate's availability
Your responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions that enhances operations efficiency
Ansible Infrastructure Management
Responsibility for the operations and maintenance of On Premise or client dedicated computing platforms and servers
Install, maintain, patch, upgrade and continuously improve the operating environment
Scripting in Ansible, YAML, Python, and PowerShell,
Requirements:
At least 4 years of experience in following areas:
Testing, deployment, and maintenance of Ansible playbooks for automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, templates, error handling modules and application deployment
Administration of Ansible Core, Ansible Tower infrastructure
Configure and manage Ansible Tower (or AWX) for centralized orchestration, scheduling, and monitoring of Ansible jobs
Performing maintenance & configuration activities, provide SME level support
Troubleshooting and resolution of issues in dev, test, and production environments
Use of GitHub for version control
Update of system documentation, diagrams and Standard Operation Procedures
Implementation of best practices and standards for automation development
Implementation of security best practices for Ansible, such as credential and secrets management
Working with tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation to efficiently provision and manage cloud resources
Integrating automation solutions with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools for incident management
