Opis stanowiska
We are currently seeking a General Ledger Accountant (RtR) for our client with a Shared Service Center (SSC) located in Kraków.Responsibilities:
Prepare and post journal entries.
Generate financial statements.
Conduct month-end and year-end closure activities.
Reconcile intercompany balances.
Maintain General Ledger Master data.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including cash transactions.
Analyze Profit and Loss (P&L) accounts, primarily focusing on operating expenses (OPEX).
Maintain and report fixed assets.
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of required financial reports.
Update financial data in databases to ensure immediate availability when needed.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors.
Participate in global improvement projects, proactively suggesting process enhancements.
Assist senior accountants in monthly and yearly closings.
Work closely with the local finance team and other departments.
Requirements:
Experience in the RTR/GL area within an SSC/BPO environment.
Advanced English proficiency (minimum B2 level).
Bachelors or Masters degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly strong MS Excel skills.
Quick learner with a process-oriented mindset and excellent teamwork abilities.
