Your responsibilities1. Technical:
- Lead, drive and ensure successful implementation and continued certification of ISO9001, and other quality standards implemented in the future
- Manage Northvolts quality management system including driving continuous improvement and the integration with ISO14001 and other standards implemented in the future,
- Oversee all system audits on site and compile executive summary with prioritized non-conformities
2. Business:
- Offer mentoring and technical expertise within Integrated Management System
- Prospective customers requirement analysis
- Stakeholder management ; Northvolt QMS representatives for the unification and the continuous improvement of the Management System
- Build the customer requirements awareness within the company
3. PM & Process Improvement:
- Develop Business Process Management and upskill the organization
- Stay up to date with best practice integrated management
- Determine and define project scope and objectives
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Prepare for and run Management Reviews at required frequency, keep updated action tracker is kept and execute improvements
- Ensure the organization deploys effective KPIs and OKRs, while measuring and analyzing performance
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Measure project management performance to identify areas for improvement
- Perform other tasks assigned by managers
Accountability:
- Leading improvement projects
- Coordinating project team
- Reporting any health and safety ideas, nonconformities, remarks, opportunities, etc.
- Initiating any corrective and preventive actions
- Authorized to report any quality, environment or health and safety nonconformities, ideas, risks and opportunities
Our requirements
Requirements:
- MSc degree in technical engineering
- Experience in manufacturing company
- Fluent English
- Excellent knowledge of quality management system
- Knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving methods
- Strong business acumen
- ISO 9001:2015 standard knowledge
- ISO 14001:2015 standard knowledge,
- Excellent knowledge of Risk Management, Risk Identification and Risked Based approaches
- Experience in working in a multicultural environment
Specific skills:
- Open, analytical mind, with a business mindset and readiness to learn
- With a problem-solving mindset
- ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 auditor certificate
- Experienced with auditing other manufacturing sites as a Leading Auditor
- Expert on planning and coordinating activities, getting things done and exceeding the customer expectations
- Outstanding communication skills at all levels (written and verbal)
- People management skills
- Skilled in Business Process Management
- Bonus points: IATF and/or VDA

Northvolt Poland sp. z o.o.
Northvolt is a European supplier of sustainable, high-quality battery cells and systems. Founded in 2016 to enable the European transition to a decarbonized future, Northvolt has made swift progress on its mission to deliver the worlds greenest lithium-ion battery with a minimal CO2 footprint and the highest ambitions for recycling. Among Northvolt industrial partners and customers are ABB, BMW Group, Scania, Siemens, Vattenfall, Vestas and the Volkswagen Group.
Northvolt Ett is a next generation battery cell factory focused on process innovation, scale and vertical integration. Once completed, the gigafactory will be one of the largest battery cell factory in Europe and produce at least 32 GWh of capacity annually.
Alongside Northvolt Ett, Northvolt is also establishing a manufacturing site for battery systems in Gdansk, Poland. This facility, Northvolt Battery Systems Jeden, will industrialize and produce world leading battery systems in order to meet the increased demand for complete battery solutions on the European market. The factory is a highly automated, state-of-the-art production facility for battery modules and energy storage solutions.
We are currently in an exciting fast-growing phase and operate in a dynamic environment, dealing with a wide range of stakeholders. We are staffing our international office in Stockholm, our R&D facility, Northvolt Labs in Västers, as well as Northvolt Battery Systems Jeden, in Gdansk, for production of battery systems. We are also preparing for upcoming positions at the main factory, Northvolt Ett, in Skellefte.
